A Leader I Elected to Follow

A Leader I Elected to FollowJesus Christ: The Candidate for The Position of Savior and Lord
“For God so loved the world that He gave Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

His Platform

To bring good news to the poor in spirit.
To heal the wounds of the brokenhearted.
To set at liberty those who are oppressed.
To seek and to save all who are lost.
To offer absolute forgiveness for every personal failure.

His Promises

He will encourage husbands to love their wives and bless their children.
He will provide tender care for all mothers with infants.
He will be a father to the fatherless and a defender of widows.
He will take upon himself all our grief and sorrows.
He will move compassionately towards all people, without any partiality.
He will provide rest for all who labor and are overwhelmed with life’s pressures.
He will sympathize with our weaknesses.
He will obtain mercy and find grace to help in our time of need.
He will never leave you, forsake you or condemn you.
He will give every person a future and a hope.

His Pledge

He will serve and give his life as ransom for the welfare of everyone.

His Performance

He has provided a sure foundation to understand every issue of life.
He has been a light to the world, speaking honestly, using words that give life.
He has been consistently faithful and true in character and conduct.
He has answered every question with the fullness of wisdom.
He has been mighty in battle, winning the victory of eternal life.
He has been called King, Lord, Redeemer, Savior, Messiah and the Great I AM.

His critics speak words of personal destruction. They have called him a blasphemer, one born of fornication, demon possessed, a liar, a criminal, an evildoer, a deceiver, one who perverts the nation and forbids people to pay taxes.

His followers have never regretted his leadership. In fact, they continue to reelect him each day to rule their lives.

Whom have you elected to follow? Should you reconsider your decision?

What can be said? Beautifully done Tom. Jesus is a leader whom I elected to follow. Reconsider? No!
