I AM the Resurrection and the Life

I AM the resurrection and the life.

The Great I AM

Jesus Christ does not stand in a long line of spiritual “Masters.” He stands alone as the eternal God who came to earth as God in human flesh. He is not some religious “wannabe.”

He is the Great I AM.

  • Jehovah’s Witnesses proclaim that Christ is not God, but returned invisibly to earth in 1914.
  • Mormons state that we who are humans can someday become gods.
  • Muslims claim that people earn their own salvation and pay for their own sins.
  • New Age Movement advocates self-realization techniques to elevate themselves to a deity.
  • Scientology removes mental blocks so you can return to a deified state many incarnations ago.
  • Transcendental Meditation repeats mantras that will make one fit for the Age of Enlightenment.
  • Unification Church boldly states that Christ failed to redeem man and the Cross is a symbol of defeat.
  • Unitarians teach that Jesus Christ is no more or less divine than any man.

Our Living Hope

The way to heaven is wide enough to include you and me, yet narrow enough to exclude all other designer gods and man-made deities.

[tweetable]Christianity is a relationship with God made possible by the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.[/tweetable]

Jesus Christ is the eternal God, who created all things and by Him all things consist. He humbled Himself by entering into human history as a sinless man and lived a perfect life. He is the only and all sufficient Savior of the world and according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through His resurrection from the dead.

All human history is dated by His life.
