Will You Make It Home?

Will You Make It Home
Have you ever been confronted with the fact that you might not make it home?

90% of the population believes heaven will be their eternal home. Unfortunately, many will not make it through the heavenly screening station. There is a “sin detector” that everyone must pass through. If there is just one sin detected in your person, you can not board the flight to heaven.

“What about all the good things that I have done? Doesn’t that count for something?” The good things in your baggage may have been checked through, but it is the stuff inside you that will set the alarms off.

It is a universal fact that no one is perfect, therefore, no one can make it through the “sin detector.”

Everyone has committed at least one sin

Have you always put God first in your life?
Have you ever used God’s name as a curse word?
Have you always honored your parents?
Have you ever had hatred in the heart towards another?
Have you ever looked at another person with lust?
Have you ever taken anything that belonged to someone else?
Have you ever lied…even about your answers to these questions?

Heaven is absent of all sin and present with all the love of God. God loves you so much and wants you to be with Him, so He purchased your one way ticket home.

Jesus Christ proved He is the only perfect God. He is sinless. His life could never sound the “sin detector” alarm. But one day He chose to walk through the “sin detector” with all your sins on Him, and the judgment of heaven condemned Him to death on a cross. He received your penalty. He died for your sins then rose from the dead. “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ.”

Your account has been cleared

The blood of Jesus Christ has cleansed you. When you approach that “eternal sin detector,” you have nothing to fear, because you will be wearing His robe of righteousness.

He is in heaven and has prepared a place for you.

Will you repent, receive your purchased ticket and live for the glory of God?
It is later than you think; will you make that last flight to heaven?
